After getting his medical degree at the Xochicalco University Studies Center, Dr. Miguel Navarro spent the following years doing his medical residency in general surgery at the biggest and most important hospital in Tijuana, the Tijuana General Hospital. As said before, he then made his subspecialty in minimally invasive bariatric procedures at the French IRCAD, in Strasbourg.

Once completed his residency and mastered his distinctive human touch, Dr. Navarro focused on weight-loss-oriented surgeries such as vascular surgery, bariatric surgery gastrointestinal surgery, trauma surgery, laparoscopy, and advanced laparoscopy at different Medical Centers. Thanks to his work, he is now fully certified by the Mexican Council of General Surgery as a general and bariatric surgeon.

Also, thanks to different fellowships, Dr. Miguel Navarro has earned enough experience to face metabolic diseases and obesity at the Advanced Bariatric Surgery and Laparoscopic Surgery programs.
